Enchanted 

How I wish I could let you go,

From my yearning heart,

Have some space of my own 

Of some hope , of some cheer,

I made a mistake of reading you ,

A bit too closely,

I had forgotten my own self,

So deep I fell under your spell ,

An abyss so deep and dark,

Exasperated ! I try to come up,

But slip further every time I try,

It’s like entering a tunnel,

Long ,unending, dark,

Where there is no hope,

No light at the end,

Perhaps it has no end.

They say,  love is divine,

An ecstasy,a bliss , a joy,

Ask me !

It engulfs my entire being,

Has benumbed my senses,

And you ?

Still unaware !

I was wise once,but

Now I am in love .
