Red Beetle

Red Beetle

It had rained that day ,

Wetting the dry ground,

With holes filled and unable to breath,

Velvety red beetles covered the ground,

Beautiful, tiny red spots on green grass,

On brown bare ground or tar coal road,

During recess break Sona took me home,

I ventured out though mother forbade,

Not to go to strangers houses,

With the breeze on the face I went,

" Careful " she warned, don't crush a beetle,

These are harmless little creatures.
